E-motion
E-Motion is COGSY’s community movement and wellbeing program designed to increase physical activity, strengthen confidence, and build social connection through rhythm-based movement.
Formerly known as Gladstone Salsa, now in its fourth year, the program has grown from a Latin dance community into a broader initiative supporting cardiovascular health, mental wellbeing, youth leadership and inclusive community engagement.
Through structured, beginner-friendly sessions and public outdoor activations, E-Motion provides accessible pathways for adults and families to participate in regular movement within the Gladstone region.
Dance Euphoria
From Latin roots to global rhythm.
Formerly known as Latin Euphoria, Dance Euphoria has become one of Central Queensland’s most anticipated annual dance festivals—uniting dancers from Rockhampton, Agnes Water, Mackay, Bundaberg, and beyond.
Hosted by E-motion and powered by COGSY, this multi-day celebration brings together people of all ages and levels to connect through movement. With a mix of Latin, Afro, Urban, Heels, and more, Dance Euphoria blends tradition with innovation—honouring cultural roots while welcoming fresh styles.

Our performance group trains weekly and performs at public events, festivals, and special functions.
We also offer bookable performances for:

- Council/community activations
- Festivals & cultural celebrations
🎭 Performance bookings include a fee, which goes directly back into the program to support.
